This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working flexibly across KS1 and KS2, supporting pupils both in small groups and whole-class settings. You will play a key role in delivering structured interventions and helping pupils with Autism and ASD make meaningful progress across the curriculum. Role Details Location: Mainstream Primary School - Hammersmith & Fulham Contract: Full-time Start Date: May 2026 Salary: M3-UPS1 (dependent on experience) Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging lessons and targeted interventions for pupils with Autism and ASD across KS1 and KS2. Work with individuals and small groups to support learning, communication, and social development. Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs and ensure all pupils can access the curriculum. Collaborate closely with class teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals to provide consistent and effective support. Create a structured, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment that promotes confidence and independence. Uphold high professional standards and safeguarding practices in line with school policies. The Ideal Candidate Will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Have completed an undergraduate degree. Have experience supporting pupils with Autism and ASD, ideally within a mainstream primary setting. Have experience delivering interventions and working with pupils across KS1 and KS2. Demonstrate patience, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education.
