The Role As Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring CNC machinery is kept in peak condition through repair, servicing, and preventative maintenance. Reporting to the Machine Shop Manager, you’ll work hands-on to reduce downtime, solve technical problems, and keep production on track. Responsibilities: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in line with manufacturer guidelines. Diagnose and repair faults on CNC machinery (including 4- & 5-axis machining centres and CNC turning machines). Replace worn or faulty components, wiring, and parts as needed. Liaise with external suppliers for specialist repairs when required. Safely operate forklifts and lifting equipment to move tools, parts, and materials. About You We’re looking for a proactive engineer with strong technical skills and a background in maintaining CNC machine tools.
