Role Overview
Are you a motivated sales professional with a knack for building relationships and spotting opportunities? We are a leading Belfast based Telecoms and IT provider looking for a dynamic Desk-Based Account Manager to join our growing team.
Unlike cold-calling roles, your focus will be on our existing loyal customer base. You will be the primary point of contact for your clients, ensuring they have the best technology in place to run their businesses. Your goal is to drive growth through strategic upselling and cross-selling across our comprehensive portfolio of Telecoms and Cloud IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Relationship Management: Maintain regular contact with a portfolio of existing business customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
* Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products, including VoIP, mobile fleets, and high-speed connectivity.
* Solution Selling: Consult with clients to understand their digital transformation needs, introducing them to Cloud IT (Microsoft 365) and Network Security solutions.
* Pipeline Management: Manage the end-to-end sales process from initial quote to closing the deal, ensuring all CRM data is accurate.
* Market Awareness: Stay up to date with the latest trends in Telecoms and IT to provide expert advice to your clients.
Product Portfolio
You will have a full toolkit of industry-leading products to offer your clients:
* Telecoms: Hosted Telephony (VoIP), Business Mobiles, and SIP Trunking.
* Connectivity: Leased Lines, FTTP, and SD-WAN.
* Cloud IT: Microsoft 365 migration, Azure, and Cloud Storage.
* Security: Network Security, Firewalls, and Endpoint Protection.
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience: At least 1–2 years of experience in a desk-based sales or account management role (Some experience within the Telecoms industry is essential for this role).
* Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts simply.
* Drive: A self-starter attitude with a hunger to hit targets and maximize commission.
* Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with CRM systems and a basic understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
* Location: Ability to work from the Belfast office.
