HGV Driver – Skip & Roll-on/Roll-off (RoRo)

Contract Type: Temporary
Start Date: Monday, 8th September 2025
Duration: 3-4 weeks
Hours: 48 hours per week | Early starts from 04:00
Pay: £14.50ph (£18.21 higher umbrella rate)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HGV Driver to join our clients team on a temporary basis. This is a hands-on role involving the operation of Skip and Roll-on/Roll-off (RoRo) vehicles to collect and dispose of waste across various sites.
You’ll receive daily instructions during debriefs and may occasionally be asked to operate a dustcart depending on workload — full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drive and operate Skip and RoRo trucks.
2. Collect skips from commercial and residential sites.
3. Safely transport and dispose of waste at designated facilities.
4. Follow daily route plans and instructions.
5. Operate a dustcart if required (training provided).
Requirements
6. Valid HGV License (Class 2 minimum).
7. Experience operating Skip and/or RoRo vehicles (preferably both).
8. Willingness to undergo training for dustcart operation.
9. Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
10. Flexible to work early mornings and potentially weekends.
