Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an excellent opportunity for a professional, punctual, and responsible full-time housekeeper to join a well-established formal private household based in Regent's Park, with a planned relocation to St John's Wood in March. The household consists of two adult principals and is supported by a professional domestic team including a butler, private chef, and a laundress. The family are seeking an experienced housekeeper who is confident working within a formal staffed household, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and is comfortable maintaining high standards while respecting the principals' privacy and belongings. The role suits a non-smoking candidate who takes pride in their work and values long-term employment within a structured household environment.
Regent's Park and St John's Wood are among London's most desirable residential areas, known for their green spaces, elegant properties, and excellent transport links. This is a live-out position and is easily accessible by public transport, making it an ideal role for candidates commuting from across London. The household uses organic, eco-friendly cleaning products and maintains a calm, professional working atmosphere. The property has five bedrooms, although only two are actively used, and following relocation, the house will also include a spa floor requiring regular upkeep.
Working as a Housekeeper in this role involves full responsibility for the daily cleanliness and organisation of the home, alongside other household staff. Duties will include general housekeeping, laundry management of bed linen, and careful handling of specialist surfaces such as silver, marble, and antique furniture. The housekeeper will also be required to liaise with contractors and occasional staff, assist with deep cleaning when the principals are away, and provide occasional basic cooking when the private chef is unavailable. Basic pet care will also form part of the role, including feeding and walking the family's friendly corgi dog. This is a self-employment position with fixed days off and holiday entitlement.

Working Days: 5 days per week (08:00 – 16:00, days off on Thursdays and Sundays)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Main Duties of the Housekeeper:
· Daily housekeeping duties including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing
· Cleaning bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, mirrors, windows and furniture to a high standard
· Laundry care including washing bed linen and towels, changing beds, and maintaining an organised linen rotation system
· Working confidently with silver, marble, and antique furniture
· Using organic and eco-friendly cleaning products in line with household preferences
· Liaising with contractors and coordinating with occasional staff when required
· Working collaboratively with the butler, laundress, and a private chef
· Occasional basic cooking for the principals' child when the chef is away
· Basic pet care, including feeding and walking the dog
· Deep cleaning during periods when the principals are away
· After relocation, cleaning and maintaining the spa floor within the property
Requirements for this Housekeeper:
· Minimum of 5 years' private household housekeeping experience
· Two excellent, checkable references
· Conversational level of English and/or Russian
· Legal right to work in the UK
