Teaching Personnel are currently working with a specialist SEN Secondary school based in Stoke-on-Trent (ST5) who are currently looking for a Teacher to start in January. This is a great opportunity for a teacher with a background in SEN who is looking for a new, rewarding role.
The Role:
* Start-date: 5th January
* Ongoing until the end of the academic year
* Teaching students in Years 7-9
Your role will involve implementing a range of strategies to support communication, emotional regulation, and active engagement. You’ll regularly assess student progress and adapt your teaching methods to ensure all learners are both challenged and supported appropriately. Building strong, positive relationships with families and carers will be essential to promoting holistic development and ensuring continuity between school and home.
Requirements:
* QTS
* Experience teaching students with SEN
* Good knowledge of ASD, SEMH, and current teaching techniques
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Creative, resilient and committed to inclusive education
* Good understanding of EHCPs and progress tracking in SEN settings
