Overview
Customers are at the heart of everything we do. This role is for a store colleague in Tesco Mobile, offering great service with variety and everyday challenges. You will be part of a specialist, diverse team where everyone is welcome.
We offer a clear availability window and hours, with a guaranteed minimum of 12 hours per week. Your contracted hours will be scheduled within advertised times, and you will receive 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. We are happy to support flexibility if your availability aligns closely but does not exactly match the advertised times.
Our phone shop colleague rate of pay starts from £12.87 per hour, increasing to £14.08 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
There is an isolation of responsibilities and aligned expectations around serving customers, maintaining store standards, and supporting store debt control and stock accuracy.
Responsibilities
* Delivering a great shopping trip for customers every day, following opening and closing routines, ensuring facilities are in good working order and available for customers, and listening to and acting on customer feedback.
* Create a positive impression for customers, modelling high standards of dress and readiness to serve.
* Follow the service culture in your department, modelling helpful and friendly service behaviours and demonstrating enthusiasm to do what’s right for customers.
* Protect the brand by delivering legal compliance, following safe and legal routines, and performing due diligence in your department.
* Support your manager to control costs in your department, assist with stock record accuracy, and be prepared for stock control routines.
