DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
WILL INCLUDE

Technical Expertise:
* Liaise with network control centres to deliver operational systems including real time fault management, system operation, new installations.
* Create and maintain key design documents, policy and procedure documentation.
* Interface with data management and support teams.
Project Leadership:
* Conduct technical works leading to the successful completion of projects.
* Oversee and manage complex projects from inception to completion.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
Team Management and Mentoring:
* Grow TNEI's Network Operation & Control Project Portfolio.
* Contribute to the development of junior consultants, with line management responsibilities required.
* Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Knowledge Sharing and Thought Leadership:
* Stay abreast of industry trends and developments.
* Represent the company at conferences, seminars, and networking events.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential requirements include:
* Degree/Masters degree qualified in Electrical Engineering / Telecommunications or related qualification.
* At least 6 years relevant industry experience.
* Knowledge of the Great Britain transmission and distribution systems.
* Experience with Real Time Operational Systems.
* Knowledge of SCADA systems and IEC /104 and ICCP.
* Telecoms requirements for SCADA communications.
* Knowledge of Energy Network control centres and real time network operation including relevant codes and procedures.
* Experience of Black-start network operation and generator control interfaces
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in writing project reports.
* Well-rounded individual with the ability to deliver work individually, or as part of a team.
* Ability to engage with Clients, forming long term and mutually beneficial relationships.
Desirable requirements:
* Experience in writing proposals for clients.
* Commercial awareness and pro-active in seeking out new business opportunities.
* Experience working in a network control centre.
* Experience of CIM models and data exchange.
