About the Role
As a Relief Pharmacist, you’ll provide excellent customer and patient care, listening and offering expert advice and reassurance. You will serve across multiple pharmacies, not just one location. Your main responsibilities include:
1. Delivering the pharmacy strategy through expert care and advice
2. Making legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy
3. Enhancing the pharmacy team’s capabilities
4. Reviewing safety through audits, observations, and risk assessments
5. Providing a range of professional pharmacy services
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a professional, caring character and a passion for community pharmacy. You should:
1. Be registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
2. Demonstrate high professional expertise and respect from stakeholders
3. Be committed to providing the best care for customers
4. Work collaboratively within a team
5. Have excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and local services
6. Communicate effectively to meet customer and patient needs
