Music Teacher – Maternity Cover (Part-Time) Lewisham Borough | September 2026 Start We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Music Teacher for a maternity cover position at a secondary school in the London Borough of Lewisham. This is a part-time role (2 days per week), starting in September 2026 for the full academic year. The position is likely to be offered on a fixed-term contract rather than as a long-term supply booking. The successful candidate will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Have experience teaching Music across KS3 and KS4 Be confident with planning and marking responsibilities Be passionate about music education and engaging students in the subject A willingness to contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities would be highly advantageous. The school has a successful choir and several student bands. The school will be holding interviews for shortlisted candidates who apply directly on Thursday this week.
