About The Role:
As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Stantec, you will play a vital role in supporting the end-to-end recruitment process. Working closely with Talent Acquisition Partners, HR Business Partners, and Hiring Managers, you’ll help deliver a consistent, professional, and engaging hiring experience for candidates and internal stakeholders alike.
This position involves operational delivery across candidate communication, data management, process coordination, onboarding support, and TA analytics/reporting helping drive continuous improvement across Stantec’s talent acquisition practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support Talent Acquisition Partners with all phases of the recruitment lifecycle, including posting jobs, managing candidate communications, and scheduling interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
* Ensure recruitment systems (ATS) are maintained accurately creating, updating, and closing requisitions and candidate records.
* Coordinate smooth onboarding activities with HR colleagues and hiring managers to deliver a positive new-joiner experience.
* Draft and issue standard candidate correspondence including interview invites, feedback, and offer documentation.
* Maintain accurate recruitment data for reporting, compliance, and audit purposes.
* Track and report on recruitment metrics and progress to support data-driven decision-making.
* Support employer branding initiatives and careers marketing activity (job board posts, social sharing, etc.).
* Contribute to continuous improvement identifying ways to optimise processes, candidate experience, and system usage.
About You:
* Experience in a recruitment support, HR administration, or Talent Acquisition Coordinator role (or similar).
* Comfortable using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS tools with strong data accuracy.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with commitment to delivering exceptional candidate and stakeholder service.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Word, Excel).
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
