Job Purpose To work individually or as part of a team to operate all process equipment in accordance with detailed process/operating instructions and at times, on own initiative, to ensure product quality standards and maximum output are achieved, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the business. Working days and nights on a shift pattern we are looking for someone able to work effectively under pressure, who is looking for a challenge and can demonstrate a good degree of reliability, plus plenty of flexibility in relation to working hours/shifts Key responsibilities: Work in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner whilst operating various equipment and processes within Tensar Manufacturing Ltd Communicate respectfully with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials to produce products that consistently meet company specifications and standards. Monitor the performance of all the sections of equipment and ensure that they all comply with current technical specifications and procedures. Implement the necessary corrective actions to keep the operation within the required specifications. Report all unsafe equipment and practices to the Supervisor. Ensure handover to the next shift is conducted in an orderly manner and in line with current procedures and practices. Contribute to team problem solving activities. Any other duties/ projects that are reasonable and within the skills and ability of the post holder.
