Location
This role is based in Brighton and requires travel across Eastbourne and other areas of Sussex. A Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car with business insurance are essential.
Working Hours
Minimum of 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Assist and empower participants to move closer to sustainable employment.
* Reduce or eliminate barriers related to employability, financial issues, housing, relationships, well‑being, social inclusion, and digital literacy.
* Identify, nurture, and secure suitable job opportunities for unemployed individuals within the local community.
* Support participants in tailoring service approaches and coordinate with other contracts, such as money management and housing support.
* Build networks in the local community with other charities, job centres, and community venues to source referrals.
Qualifications
* Self‑motivated, proactive, and solution‑focused.
* Passionate about supporting people to overcome barriers and thrive in team environments.
* Experience delivering employability support and offering a wide range of solutions to people in need of help.
* Ability to source referrals by building networks within the local community.
Pre‑appointment Requirements
* Appointment subject to satisfactory references, a criminal record check (DBS: Enhanced adult workforce DBS Disclosure).
* Evidence of the right to work in the UK.
* Full UK driving licence (required for travel).
