This well-established firm offers a full range of services to a varied client base, from sole traders and SMEs through to much larger companies, and will offer the Accounts Senior a competitive salary, depending upon experience, company pension and onsite parking.
As Accounts Senior your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing working papers, statutory accounts and management accounts for sole traders, limited companies and partnerships
* Working on a variety of interesting and complex accounts assignments across multiple sectors, liaising with seniors, manager and partners when required
* Developing and applying your technical and commercial knowledge
* Ensuring assignments are completed to a high standard, in time and within budgets
* Building long lasting client relationships
* Some tax work as required
* Managing own workload in a timely and efficient manner to exceed client expectations
* Supervising, training and assisting more junior members of the team
* Build productive relationships with team members and colleagues, adopting a collaborative working approach

* Qualified ACCA or ACA – exceptional part qualified and QBE candidates will be considered
* Ideally, minimum of 3 years UK practice experience
* Up to date knowledge of UK accounting standards
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong interpersonal and client management skills
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Strong general IT skills and experience of accountancy software
* A positive, confident and proactive attitude
* Ability to prioritise and meet tight timeframes with high quality output
* Enjoy working as part of a team and be self-motivated
* Ability and desire to develop junior staff
