Employment and Hours
Employment status: employed
Hours per week: 2 hour shift, 1-2 days per week (morning shifts are preferable, but can be flexible).
Hourly pay rate: £13 per hour. Enhanced rate £14 per hour. Mileage paid at 40p a mile
Role Description
I am a independent, bright, and friendly woman, looking for a reliable, like minded female personal assistant to assist me with personal care tasks and some general household duties. I am ambulant but struggle with day-to-day tasks. I enjoy the natural world and also have an interest in current affairs.
Duties
* Medication prompting/administering
* Other relevant duties as required
* Administration
* Housekeeping
* Shopping
* Gardening
* Dressing / undressing
* Laundry
* Changing and making bed linen
* Minor household maintenance e.g. changing light bulbs, taking down curtains for washing
* Taking out rubbish
* Assistance with food prep
* Supervision and/or assistance with showering, hair washing /drying as required
* Help getting into and out of bath/shower as required
* To be on call when employer takes bath
* Assistance with applying creams
* Help to remind me to take my medication and drink water
* Accompany employer to doctors / hospital appointments when required

* Hygienic, tidy and well organised
* Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
* Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

* Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
Additional requirements
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
