What does a Delivery Manager, Sonic Hub do at WPP Production?

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Delivery Manager, Sonic Hub to support the rollout and day‑to‑day delivery of music, voice and audio services across EMEA. This hybrid delivery, operations and client‑facing role involves coordinating briefs, managing music licensing and usage rights, supporting music supervisors and production teams, tracking costs and commercial terms, and ensuring projects move efficiently from intake through to final delivery. The role also embeds governance around Sonic Hub usage, ensuring briefs are routed correctly and opportunities do not leak externally by default.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a key operational lead for Sonic Hub and AMP delivery across EMEA, supporting agency teams, WPP Production teams and internal music/audio specialists.
  • Manage incoming briefs and triage them against the appropriate route: Sonic Hub, internal supervision, AMP services, or approved external supplier.
  • Coordinate project specifications, deliverables, timelines and approvals across all parties involved.
  • Track and manage project costs, fees, licensing terms, usage rights and contractual requirements throughout the lifecycle of each brief.
  • Support music supervisors and internal teams with music search, briefing, licensing coordination, asset delivery and status tracking.
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of Sonic Hub’s available music library, voice and audio capabilities, and guide users toward the most appropriate solutions.
  • Oversee project contracting, licence confirmation and documentation, ensuring all usage is clearly understood, approved and recorded.
  • Maintain clear communication with agency teams, production partners, legal/business affairs and commercial stakeholders throughout delivery.
  • Help ensure metadata, tagging, file delivery and documentation standards are maintained across music and audio assets.
  • Identify gaps in library or service offering and coordinate with vendors, internal stakeholders or platform contacts to resolve them.
  • Support adoption and onboarding across EMEA teams, helping users understand the platform, governance model and delivery workflows.
  • Track project activity, common use cases, barriers to adoption and recurring regional issues, feeding insight back into service improvement.
  • Operate with a strong understanding of music publishing, master rights, sync licensing and usage terms.

Regional Focus

  • Support rollout and usage across mature and emerging EMEA markets, balancing standardisation with local market realities.
  • Work across markets with differing levels of internal music supervision capability and differing legal / regulatory requirements.
  • Understand where AI voice and Sonic Hub solutions are commercially compelling versus where local economics, publishing or regulatory frameworks require a different route.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders in key EMEA hubs to ensure the service complements – rather than conflicts with – existing in‑house capability.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in music licensing, music supervision coordination, audio operations, advertising production or post production delivery.
  • Good working knowledge of music rights, licensing structures, publishing, master ownership, usage terms and clearance processes.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously across a fast‑paced commercial environment.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with close attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working with agency, client, legal, production and creative stakeholders.
  • Experience in advertising, branded content, broadcast, digital content or other rights‑sensitive production environments.
  • Strong commercial awareness and confidence tracking budgets, fees and approvals.
  • Ability to work across multiple teams, markets and workflows with a calm, solutions‑oriented mindset.

Desirable

  • Experience working with music libraries, licensing platforms or music supervision teams.
  • Familiarity with audio post production, voiceover or sound design workflows.
  • Experience in regional or multi‑market delivery models.
  • Knowledge of EMEA market differences in rights, language adaptation or AI voice readiness.

Benefits

At WPP Production, you’ll help shape the future of content production at a truly global scale. We bring together world‑class talent, cutting‑edge studios, and advanced technology to solve some of the most complex creative and production challenges in the industry. You’ll work in a collaborative, borderless environment where craft excellence is valued, innovation is encouraged, and AI and next‑generation tools are used to amplify not replace human creativity. With access to diverse projects, global career opportunities, and the backing of WPP’s unmatched network, this is a place where you can grow your skills, make real impact, and create work that performs for every audience, across every channel, at every moment.

Inclusion and Impact

WPP is an equal opportunity employer and considers applicants for all positions without discrimination or regard to particular characteristics. We are committed to fostering a culture of respect in which everyone feels they belong and has the same opportunities to progress in their careers.
