A quick look at the role The Senior Data & Reporting Analyst will be crucial in the Finance organisation taking the next step in data and reporting automation using Microsoft technology. You have a significant interest in enabling technology for Finance, Data and Reporting and are a collaborative individual that has a proven track record in supporting the development of automated reporting solutions to drive business value.. Your core responsibilities Work collaboratively in the Finance Data & Reporting team, providing perspectives on the existing reporting suite, and medium to long term objectives of the team Develop and maintain automated reporting including but not limited to dashboards, reporting workflows Collaborate with teams across Finance, to understand reporting requirements and deliver suitable solutions to information and reporting needs, while ensuring consistent adherence to quality standards and reporting governance Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimisation in data management and reporting Lead projects related to data and reporting automation, from planning and execution to monitoring and evaluation Support the Finance and Procurement teams in their PowerBI adoption journey by knowledge sharing sessions, and in day to day interactions. Our essential requirements Experience in finance roles, with a focus on financial analysis, reporting, and data management is advantageous Advanced problem-solving skills to identify challenges, propose solutions, and drive continuous improvement in data management and reporting processes Hands-on experience in developing Power BI solutions for financial reporting and analysis, including dashboard design and data visualisation Understanding of financial and management reporting requirements, processes, and data structures Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest developments in finance, data analytics, and Microsoft technologies through professional development courses, workshops, and seminars.
