Overview
We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading organisation operating within a highly regulated, fast-moving industrial environment. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking engineering team focused on plant reliability, continuous improvement, and high engineering standards across a large-scale site.
You will play a key role in minimising downtime, delivering preventative maintenance, and supporting reliability and process improvement projects.
Responsibilities
* Maintain plant and equipment availability through reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance.
* Carry out reactive electrical maintenance and rapid fault diagnosis.
* Deliver planned preventative maintenance to reduce downtime.
* Improve plant reliability and efficiency through engineering improvements.
* Support continuous improvement and reliability projects.
* Liaise with external contractors for specialist maintenance activities.
* Maintain accurate documentation and maintenance records.
* Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety and compliance standards.
About You / Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
* Strong experience in electrical fault-finding, repair, and reactive maintenance.
* Confident carrying out PPMs and supporting process improvements.
* Good understanding of health and safety and engineering compliance.
* Background in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, utilities, waste, or similar environments.
* Proactive, reliable, and a strong problem solver.
