Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Haird Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hair styling, with additional skills in customer service and the ability to upsell services. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional client experiences. A flair for makeup application, eyelash extensions, and barbering will be advantageous. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior staff and contribute to the overall success of our salon.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality hair styling services, including cutting, colouring, and styling.
* Perform makeup application and eyelash extensions as requested by clients.
* Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored recommendations.
* Upsell additional services and products to enhance the client experience.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitised.
* Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
* Mentor junior stylists and provide guidance on best practices in hair care and styling techniques.
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
* Valid hairdressing qualification or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience in a salon environment with strong customer service skills.
* Knowledge of barbering techniques is a plus.
* Experience with makeup application and eyelash extensions is desirable.
* Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Previous experience in store management or mentoring is advantageous but not essential.
