Location: On-site - New Romney, Kent, TN28 8XU
Employment Type: Full-time
About the Role
We're a newly established e-commerce business (under 12 months old) with strong early traction, looking for a hands-on SEO & PPC Specialist to help scale our digital growth.
While our primary focus is our e-commerce website, we also operate a physical retail counter, and search plays a key role in driving both online sales and in-store visits.
This is an on-site, full-time role based in New Romney, Kent, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with a growing team and taking ownership in an early-stage business.
You'll be responsible for building on already successful Google campaigns, while developing a sustainable long-term SEO strategy.
Key Responsibilities
SEO (Website & Local Focus):
Develop and execute an SEO strategy for a growing e-commerce website
Conduct keyword research focused on product, category, and high-intent searches
Optimise product pages, category pages, collections, and supporting content
Implement technical SEO best practices (site structure, page speed, mobile optimisation, schema)
Improve local search visibility for our retail counter (Google Business Profile, local keywords, reviews)
Monitor organic traffic, rankings, and revenue using GA4 and Google Search Console
PPC (Scaling What Works):
Take ownership of existing Google Ads campaigns and build on their current success
Optimise and scale paid search, Shopping, and Performance Max campaigns
Improve ROAS, CPA, and revenue through continuous testing and optimisation
Write and test ad copy, keywords, audiences, and product feeds
Manage budgets efficiently to maximise return
Familiarity with SEMrush or similar SEO tools for research, tracking, and performance insights
Analytics & Optimisation:
Maintain accurate conversion tracking for online purchases and relevant in-store actions
Analyse performance data to uncover growth opportunities
Deliver clear, actionable performance reports focused on revenue and ROI
Required Qualifications
Proven experience managing SEO and PPC for e-commerce websites
Strong working knowledge of Google Ads and search marketing best practices
Experience optimising existing campaigns rather than starting from scratch
Hands-on experience with GA4 and Google Search Console
Ability to work independently in an early-stage, fast-paced environment
Familiarity with Google Merchant Centre and Shopping feeds
Understanding of CRO, UX, and checkout optimisation
What We Offer
Opportunity to join a business in its first year and make a real impact
Full ownership of search strategy across online and in-store channels
Supportive team environment and growth opportunities as the business scales
