The Role
Do you have proven knowledge of camera engineering and equipment? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment?
We are looking for expressions of interest for Junior Camera Assistant opportunities on Casualty, a challenging and diverse medical drama series.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Support camera team members in their duties.
* Assist with rigging, de-rigging, and preparing electronic cameras and equipment.
* Support operation of electronic cameras, following team instructions.
* Assist with camera mountings, cabling, and operational problem resolution.
* Help move equipment to maximize efficiency.
* Develop techniques related to new equipment and production demands.
* Complete camera reports as required.
* Assist with rigging, movement, and de-rigging of systems, cable running, and safety measures following training.
What Will It Take?
* Knowledge of camera engineering and equipment, with examples of past experience.
* Understanding of health & safety guidelines and legislation.
* A valid and clean driving license.
* Knowledge of TV production processes.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in instructions.
* Willingness to learn and enthusiasm for camera craft.
* Ability to work with a range of individuals.
