Overview

Student Accommodation Administration Assistant / Receptionist

This role involves assisting the Student Accommodation Accounts Administrator in the efficient operation of the student accommodation reception. You will provide advice and support to residents, assist front-of-house, and ensure security of the building. You will take bookings using the computerised accommodation package and inform applicants of charges and conditions.


Responsibilities

* Assist the Student Accommodation Accounts Administrator in day-to-day reception operations.
* Provide advice and support to residents and front-of-house assistance.
* Ensure the security of the building.
* Take bookings using the computerised accommodation package and inform applicants of charges and conditions.


Qualifications

* SVQ Level III/3 Higher Grades (or equivalent) in administration or business studies, with recent relevant administration experience.
* Excellent IT skills and the ability to work under pressure.
* Client-focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.


Employment details

* Permanent Part Time: 25 hours per week (could entail shift work).
* Grade 2 BAR: £26,532 to £27,312 per annum pro rata (Starting salary commences at £26,532).
