This role will be responsible for the implementation of the Marketing strategy across the region, serving as a focal point and champion for defined product line activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Be seen as the 'Champion' for defined product lines within the region; represent and influence these product lines at a global level.
2. Work with Global Strategic Marketing to support the development of the global marketing strategy for the designated product line, ensuring the needs of EMEAI are fully represented.
3. Implement the global marketing strategy for the region.
4. Lead the development of the EMEAI annual operating plan within the broader planning cycle and long-range plan for the product line.
5. Acquire and analyze relevant market, industry, and competitive data; communicate results to senior management and make recommendations for marketing programs that create value for current and future Afton products in the marketplace.
6. Consult with sales, business partners, customers, and OEMs to determine market and customer needs and expectations.
7. In collaboration with R&D, develop and present new product and market opportunities, ensuring solutions meet customer needs.
8. Develop product line analysis and recommend modifications to meet marketing and profitability targets.
9. Coordinate with R&D regarding product development status to establish appropriate implementation timelines for marketing programs.
10. Support global review of product portfolio pricing for the designated product line.
11. Work with the pricing team to monitor and manage pricing activities.
12. Assist the sales team with business proposals, product differentiation strategies, training materials, and market trend updates.
13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor and develop tactics to achieve marketing and profitability targets, ensuring effective communication and cooperation.
14. Partner with Marketing Communications to develop promotional and sales support materials, ensuring accuracy and proprietary data protection.
Education & Experience:
BSc/BA degree or qualification in marketing, science (chemistry), or related field. Proven success in a full mix B2B marketing/business management role.
