Higher Executive Officer - Liaison Office

Role overview:
The Higher Executive Officer will be the senior responsible officer for a unit within the Customer Services Group, motivating the team in uncertain and ever-changing work environments.
Responsibilities:
* Maintaining effective relationships with key internal and external partners and stakeholders.
* Demonstrating the civil service values and standards of behaviour as a role model to colleagues.
* Providing advice, guidance, and support to customers and corporate stakeholders.
* Responding to and referring cases involving safeguarding, police, or security incidents.
* Notifying relevant parties of accommodation moves.
* Performing additional duties as required, depending on teamwork and emerging priorities.
* Keeping records on Excel and other IT systems.

Additional notes:
Please note: This role may involve extensive travel across the region and throughout the UK as required. The work and training will involve overnight stays, travel, and occasional evening and weekend work. Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to travel within your region and across the UK.
This is a physically demanding operational role requiring candidates to complete personal safety training at Level 2. Completion of this training is mandatory; failure to do so will disqualify candidates from undertaking the role.
You will need to undertake security clearance for this role. It is essential to hold a valid passport, and be able to provide two proofs of current address and a proof of national insurance.
Start dates will be confirmed once security checks are complete, which may take up to 8 weeks.
