We’re on the hunt (on behalf of a fantastic client) for a Registered Children’s Manager to take the reins of a lovely 3-bedded children’s home in Gravesend, currently rated “GOOD” by Ofsted – and aiming for OUTSTANDING.
A Bit About the Role:- As Registered Manager, you’ll be the calm in the chaos, the rock of the rota, and the leader who keeps everything ticking — and ticking brilliantly.
You’ll be:
- Overseeing day-to-day operations like a boss (because you are the boss) - Making sure every child’s care plan is more than paperwork – it’s a real roadmap to better outcomes - Working with social workers, healthcare pros, and local authorities like a networking ninja
- Championing safeguarding, risk management, and governance like it’s second nature
- Advocating for young people to access everything they need – from education to emotional support (and everything in between)
You’ll Fit Right In If You
- Have at least 2 years under your belt in a similar Registered Manager role
- Must Hold a Level 5 Diploma (as a minimum) in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Have in-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations
- Know your regs, your reports, and your responsibility for top-tier care
- Are someone your team looks up to – not just for answers, but for inspiration
