KS1 Teaching Assistant Needed | North Somerset | Part Time | September Start
A lovely primary school in the North Somerset area is looking for a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a full time role working within a warm and supportive KS1 setting.

About the Role
You will be based in KS1, working alongside the class teacher to support children in their early primary years, 3 days a week. Your days will be varied and rewarding, helping to deliver creative, engaging learning experiences while supporting children as they develop key skills, friendships and confidence.
Day to day, you will:
• Support the delivery of differentiated learning activities in KS1
• Help children develop their communication, social, literacy and numeracy skills
• Assist with classroom routines and transitions throughout the day
• Prepare resources and help maintain an engaging learning environment
• Encourage positive behaviour and support children's emotional wellbeing
• Work closely with colleagues, parents and carers to support each child's progress
About You
You will be someone who:
• Has experience working with children in KS1 or primary settings
• Understands how young children learn best and can follow the KS1 curriculum
• Is calm, patient and nurturing in your approach
• Communicates well with children and adults alike
• Enjoys being part of a team and brings a positive attitude each day
