Job Description
We’re looking for a skilled PDMS/E3D Piping Designer to take ownership of key plant areas and deliver high-quality, installable piping solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Designing safe, efficient, and maintainable piping systems & plant layouts ⚙️
Creating robust pipe support designs ️
Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, specifications, and instructions
Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to optimise overall plant design
Producing detailed engineering deliverables including:
* Isometrics
* General Arrangements (GAs) ️
* Support Details
Reviewing and checking other designers’ deliverables to maintain quality and consistency ✔️
Qualifications
An experienced PDMS/E3D Designer with strong expertise in:
* Piping design ️
* Generating automated isometric drawings directly from 3D models
Proven experience delivering piping design within a highly regulated industry
Strong knowledge of:
* UK Statutory Regulations
* Industry codes, guides, and engineering standards relevant to the discipline ✔️
Additional Information
Due to the nature of work to be undertaken applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
