As we continue to expand, particularly within our agricultural division, we are looking to expand our team with opportunities for Tekla Steel Detailer with cladding experience to join our established structural steel, cladding, and concrete detailing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced detailer to take the next step in their career. You will work with Tekla Structures, the industry-leading software for BIM-based steel, cladding and concrete modelling, and play a key role in the delivery of complex agricultural and industrial projects.
Youll be expected to take ownership of detailing packages, producing accurate 3D models and fabrication drawings for a wide range of steel structures along with cladding material orders and associated items. You will liaise closely with project engineers, contract managers, and the production team to ensure clarity and accuracy from model to installation.
What Were Looking For
Were seeking a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in steelwork and cladding modelling and a deep understanding of fabrication processes and building envelopes. You should have a hands-on approach and be confident in your ability to deliver accurate, buildable models on time and to specification.
Essential Skills
* Minimum of 3 years experience using Tekla Structures in a steel fabrication environment
* Strong working knowledge of steel frame detailing, fabrication processes, connections and cladding systems.
* Familiarity with UK Building Regulations, Eurocodes, and/or British Standards
* Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Comfortable working to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
