Lloyd South Lakes is looking for a Motor Vehicle Technician Apprentice.
Your Role
You will work in a busy BMW/MINI workshop environment, responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles to the high standards of the BMW/MINI brand.
All BMW Motor Vehicle Technician Apprentices attend the BMW Group Academy UK in Berkshire for off-the-job training, ensuring consistent training across the UK on the latest products and technology. The training lasts 3 years, combining classroom and workshop sessions, with a focus on electronics and cutting-edge technology, including:
* Cars
* Engines and BMW diagnostic equipment
Upon qualification, you will be able to undertake:
* Maintenance
* Service
* Repair activities on vehicles to the highest standards
Future Prospects
On successful completion, you can continue your development through the BMW Technical Programme.
Things to Consider
Applicants must be willing to travel to the BMW Group Academy in Berkshire for training, which is conducted in one-week blocks approximately every 2-3 months. All training costs (travel, accommodation, food) are covered by the BMW Retailer.
About the Employer
Apprentices will be employed at their local BMW Retailer and attend the BMW Group Academy at Wokefield Park near Reading, Berkshire. Bodyshop Technician apprentices may be based at a local BMW Retailer or Bodyshop, with training at Milton Keynes.

* IMI Level 2 Award in Electric / Hybrid Vehicle
* IMI Accreditation Service Maintenance Technician
Application Process
Applications are processed by BMW Group Academy. A mentor will oversee your work-based learning, and BMW representatives will visit every 12 weeks to review progress and set development targets.
