Role Overview:
This role serves as a Third Party Compliance Risk Management Senior Analyst within Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM). You will be responsible for establishing internal strategies, policies, procedures, processes, and programs to prevent violations of law, rule, or regulation. The role involves designing and delivering a risk management framework that maintains risk levels within the firm's risk appetite and protects the franchise. Additionally, you will engage with the ICRM product and function coverage teams to develop and apply CRM program solutions that meet business and customer needs in line with the Citi program framework.
What you'll do:
* Assess Third Party Compliance (ATPC) tools & process ownership, working with subject matter experts for new relationships & annual assessments.
* Contribute to the buildout of the Third Party Compliance Risk Program, including strategy, design, and governance for current and future states. Ensure appropriate tagging and control coverage in MCA.
* Provide guidance and documentation for PFICRM expectations, including tools to support credible challenge requirements.
* Develop reporting and metrics to identify high compliance risks and areas of weak execution of the ATPC.
* Collaborate with Compliance Programs to ensure consistency with the future state design of ATPC under the Consent Order.
* Participate in designing, developing, delivering, and maintaining best-in-class compliance programs, policies, and practices for ICRM.
* Analyze data and prepare regional and global reports on compliance risk assessments and issues.
* Review materials for regulatory and legal compliance, identifying and addressing potential risks.
* Investigate compliance issues, prepare documentation, and recommend actions to senior management, including responses to regulatory inquiries.
* Monitor adherence to Citi’s Compliance Risk Policies and procedures.
* Maintain and update compliance program materials.
* Collaborate with other areas within Citi as needed.
* Stay informed about regulatory changes and internal policy updates to identify new risk areas.
* Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requires the ability to operate with limited supervision, exercise independent judgment, and act as a SME to stakeholders and team members. Must assess risks carefully, especially regarding the firm’s reputation and safeguarding assets, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and escalating issues transparently.

* Ability to navigate a complex organization and work with regional and global partners.
* Excellent project management and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple projects.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Knowledge specific to the area of focus.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree; experience in compliance, legal, or control functions within financial services, regulatory bodies, or legal/consulting firms. An advanced degree is preferred.
