Fixed Term Contract for 1 year initially About the Role We are looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to deliver focused interventions and provide 1:1 support within our school. This is a vital role in helping our pupils achieve their full potential. We are seeking a highly motivated, flexible, and enthusiastic individual to join our amazing and committed team. Key Responsibilities Deliver targeted interventions to support pupil progress in literacy, numeracy, and other key areas. Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their individual goals Support pupils emotional and social development, promoting positive behaviour and inclusion. Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources. Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teaching staff. Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment. Person Specification Essential: A genuine passion for supporting childrens learning and development. Ability to motivate and inspire children to achieve their best. Good personal literacy and numeracy skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A flexible, proactive, and positive approach to working as part of a team. Desirable: Experience working in a primary school or educational setting. Experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN). Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate). First Aid training.
