My client is looking for a Sales Engineer, they are a leading provider of cloud-native Backup, Recovery, and Disaster Recovery solutions for AWS and Azure. Their platform delivers fast, policy-based protection across workloads, helping organisations simplify complexity and recover quickly when it matters most.
Who you are
A cloud-savvy engineer with strong AWS/Azure knowledge and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly. You may come from support, DevOps, or solutions architecture and want a more customer-facing role. You're curious, confident, and enjoy working with both people and technology.
What you'll do
* Deliver engaging product demos focused on DR, backup automation, and fast recovery
* Lead technical discovery and design tailored DR solutions
* Guide customers through POCs and provide pre-sales technical expertise
* Respond to technical RFPs and support partner and cloud provider engagements
* Stay up to date on cloud and DR trends and represent the client at industry events
* Collaborate with Product, CS, and Marketing to share insights and improve the offering
What you'll bring
* Strong AWS/Azure infrastructure knowledge
* Experience with Windows/Linux, cloud networking, IAM, and storage
* Clear communication skills and the ability to simplify complex topics
* Familiarity with backup, DR, or cloud security tools
* A consultative, customer-focused approach and a team-first attitude
