Hampton by Hilton Corby are seeking a Sales Manager to drive our successful hotel forward into 2023 and beyond. We are seeking a qualified sales professional to ensure we continue to be the top performer in our class with their own skills as well as leadership of the sales culture in the hotel. The ideal salesperson will have an in-depth knowledge of and experience with the sales process, and excels at lead generation, relationship building, and closing deals.
Objectives of this role
Represent our Global Brand and hotel with a comprehensive understanding of its offerings
Research potential clients needs and identify how our offer is best for their business
Achieve company objectives by planning effectively, setting sales goals, analysing performance data, and projecting future performance
Continuously develop leadership, hiring, and training skills while ensuring that the hotel team is using effective sales tactics to meet our revenue objectives
Generate leads, establish new client relationships and nurture for future growth
Responsibilities
Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands the hotel’s corporate and group business
Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs
Track, analyse, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partners and clients
Identify knowledge gaps within the hotel team and develop a plan to support a sales culture
Negotiation of client rates for both group and corporate accounts, both locally and nationally through completion of RFP’s
Effectively communicate with the hotel management team and Hilton National sales teams
Manage monthly and yearly reporting processes
Required skills and qualifications
Hotel experience in a proactive and reactive sales position for minimum of two years
Proven record of success with the entire sales cycle, from planning to closing
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Good relationship building skills
Ability to travel locally and nationally
Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends
This role is flexible for the right candidate and could be either full time or part time with a minimum of 25 hours per week. The salary for this position is pro rata.
