Risk Strategy Manager
Location: Ryde/ Hybrid
Full-Time | 12 Month Contract
Reporting to the Senior Risk Strategy Manager, Governance & Assurance, this senior role is responsible for shaping and overseeing the organisations risk management strategy, ensuring it remains best-practice, future-focused, and aligned to overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, maintain, and implement the organisations risk management strategy, plan, policies, standards, and risk appetite statements.
2. Provide oversight and challenge across the organisations risk profile, ensuring alignment with corporate vision and strategic objectives.
3. Conduct regular risk maturity assessments to identify gaps, uplift capability, and enhance risk culture.
4. Build and deliver tailored risk training and development pathways to strengthen enterprise-wide capability.
5. Prepare and present risk reporting for executive and board-level forums.
6. Engage externally with peers and vendors to benchmark and embed best practice in risk management.
7. Drive continuous improvement of risk processes, policies, and standards.
8. (Future) Lead, develop, and mentor a team of risk specialists.
