About The Role
Cleaning Manager – responsible for supervising the Cleaning team, overseeing daily cleaning operations, staff management and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Working Pattern
Start time 06:00 to 12:00. Varied mornings.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and assist with cleaning of floors, communal areas, stairwells and washrooms, including ad hoc areas.
* Manage staff rotas, holiday requests, site audits and recruit new employees where required.
* Identify on‑site training needs, conduct training where possible and maintain training records.
* Involved in investigations of personal accidents and potential disciplinary matters.
* Monitor cleaning product usage, maintain stock levels and submit orders in line with site budgets.
Ideal Candidate
* Right to work in the UK.
* Previous experience as a Manager or Supervisor in cleaning or a similar field.
* Experience in staffing, rotas, training and basic HR compliance.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Ability to work to deadlines, prioritise tasks and be flexible with working hours and days.
