Our client, a well-established Digital Marketing Agency, is seeking an experienced Web and App Project Manager to join their team.
Ideal candidate should at least have 5 years’ experience working on the following:
* Co-ordinating multiple clients web and App projects
* Scoping and delivering of WordPress and bespoke web applications
* Website Support accounts and related tasks
* Experience of delivering App projects
The candidate needs to be a professional and technically experienced individual who can be the interface between our clients and our inhouse web development team in the creation and on-going delivery of bespoke website and App builds.
This role requires a mix of skills and experience; having excellent client facing skills with the ability to build relationships and handle challenging client briefs and conversations, whilst having the capacity to understand technical requirements in order to project manage website and App projects and related support tasks to a high standard.
Must have fantastic communications skills to be able to liaise with clients and developers.
Job Responsibilities:
3 main areas of the job
* Account Management skills to manage and build client relationships, with excellent communication and organisational skills, with the understanding of how and when to keep client updated on progress and how and when to communicate when issues arise.
* Project management skills to deliver a wide range of bespoke website and App projects. Co-ordinating the end-to-end process from preparing workshops, scoping, user journeys, design concepts, site build, communications, testing and go live.
Overview of skills and experience required
* Understanding technical requirements in order to write scopes.
* Sufficient technical knowledge to have conversations with Developers to write Functional specification documents.
* Understand WordPress build process in order to project management of a range of website design and build projects.
* Excellent knowledge of WordPress of Laravel an advantage
* Understand how to determine briefs to scope bespoke web and App projects / functionality.
* Maintaining project and technical documentation:
* Writing and updating proposals, with Account Lead
* Writing web project and technical scopes, with Account Lead
* Managing scope changes, keeping documentation up to date
* Creating and maintaining project plans and timelines, working with our task management platform
* Ability to adapt project management style according to project requirements – waterfall or agile (training will be given if candidate is not familiar with Agile project management methodology)
* Participation in internal dev scrums and client services project meetings – keeping all teams up to date, on task, removing any blockers to project progress.
* Updating and uploading data and site content.
* On-going testing of new sites.
* Train clients in CMS.
* Ability to build client relationships, manage client relationships.
* Excellent verb and writing skills
* Co-ordination skills and the ability to prioritise tasks according to deadlines, budget, account requirements, whilst being flexible and aware of other projects.
