Planning Manager
Location: Warrington
Persimmon Homes are looking for an experienced and commercially aware Planning Manager to join their North West team based in Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a strategic planning role with one of the UK's largest and most successful housebuilders.

What You'll Be Doing
Manage and progress a pipeline of short, medium, and long-term residential planning applications
Lead the preparation and submission of planning applications, appeals and associated documents
Work collaboratively with the Land, Technical, and Commercial teams to maximise land opportunities
Maintain excellent working relationships with local authorities, consultants, and key stakeholders
Monitor and influence emerging local plans and planning policy
Provide strategic advice to senior management on planning risk and opportunities
Represent the company at planning committees, appeals, and public consultations
What We're Looking For
A relevant degree in Town Planning or a related field
MRTPI status (or equivalent experience)
Strong understanding of the UK planning system and residential planning policy
Excellent report writing, presentation, and communication skills
Proven experience in managing major planning applications in-house or via consultancy
A commercial approach to planning and land promotion
Full UK driving licence
