Job Overview
We are recruiting additional Learning Support Assistants to join our new state-of-the-art academy in Frindsbury, Strood. Successful candidates will work with students across the Academy and on a 1:1 basis to ensure that students’ needs do not hinder their learning and progress.
Our Learning Support Assistants will need to understand individual students’ needs and collaborate with subject teachers to develop appropriate learning programmes. Support will include in-class assistance and targeted interventions, which may involve small group work.
Experience working with primary or secondary-aged children, along with the ability to raise aspirations and motivate children, will be beneficial. Candidates should have a passion for achieving positive outcomes for children, high expectations for their emotional, social, and mental health development, excellent interpersonal skills, and good ICT knowledge.
This role is initially offered as a fixed-term contract working 1:1 with students with a high level of SEND.
