We are looking for an Early Careers Administrator/Coordinator who has an appetite for supporting our internship, apprenticeship and graduate programmes. The role will be the central liaison for the full early careers lifecycle with a focus on recruitment and employment. Working across both HR and Recruitment teams the individual will help to streamline processes and provide support to the existing early careers programmes. Our HR team of 12 is predominantly based in Peterborough, where this role will sit, with some based in Winchester and London. As a people focussed team, we work to support our five main divisions (Commercial, Infrastructure, Planning & Development, Residential and Rural) to attract, recruit and retain the best people who deliver high performance and support them to achieve their full potential. This role will play a crucial part in us achieving these goals. Our Peterborough office, located at the Allia Business Centre, is a vibrant and open planned setting. The Early Careers role will be a hybrid position, being based in the office Wednesday to Friday. Main tasks: Recruitment Assist in managing the graduate recruitment process and strategy with support from the recruitment team, utilising relevant attraction methods coordinating responses and tracking for Graduate recruitment in a timely and effective manner Support the Intern recruitment process and Internship programme Co-ordinate work experience requests, liaising with line managers and students, preparing required paperwork and maintaining record Organise and facilitate assessment centres, across U Organise and attend careers fairs and events across universities (and schools) Liaise with and manage university contacts to develop relationships further and generate more on campus awareness of graduate opportunities; attend and conduct skills presentations where possible HR Manage the enrolment on educational courses i.e. masters, apprenticeships and mapping the timescales against their employment to start their APC assessments. Ensuring that Training Agreements and Plans are fully completed and returned to HR. Maintaining the graduate tracker to ensure all data is up to date and compliant, including sandwich students, apprentices, etc. Work with the business leaders to organise rotations for placements and administering these. Support the HR Manager with external training arrangements including the Carter Jonas Talent Academy, RICS and LionHeart webinars. Publishing and enhancing awareness of the RICS support tools such as online forum, mentoring scheme, face to face support. You will ideally have gained some experience with supporting early careers programmes within an HR team, including (but not limited to) graduates and apprenticeships. You will be highly efficient, with experience of managing multiple priorities to ensure you deliver across both Recruitment and HR tasks. You will be a confident communicator and a team player. You will be able to adapt at using different systems and support way to improve processes.
