Required from September 2026.
The Governors wish to appoint an Assistant Head to join the Leadership team. You will work alongside the Senior Leadership Team in supporting the Head in the strategic management and development of the school.
The person appointed should possess the following
•Have a proven clear understanding of what constitutes outstanding teaching and learning and a commitment to developing this in others
•Have highly effective organisational, managerial and interpersonal skills and the ability to lead, support and motivate colleagues as well as the ability to assess children.
•Is an outstanding classroom practitioner with high expectations of children's achievement and behaviour;
•Will build on the school's successes and have a strategic role in moving the school forward;
•Has a commitment to teamwork and working in partnership with parents/carers and the wider community.
•Is committed to raising standards of attainment of all pupils
•Has initiative, energy, creativity and a sense of humour
•Is approachable with excellent communication skills.

You will be required to provide evidence of all qualifications specified as essential.
Ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
