Job Description:
We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Van Drivers to join our team on a temporary or temporary to permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading companies and gain valuable experience in the transport sector.
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 07:00 – 16:00
PAYE Rates:
* PAYE: £12.00 per hour
* Holiday accrual on top of the PAYE Rate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Making multi drop deliveries in a timely manner.
* Complete deliveries and collections as scheduled and/or requested.
* Ensure all goods are transported safely and securely.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
* Engage in manual handling when making deliveries (heavy lifting).
* Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with the logistics team and customers.
* Provide excellent customer service to every client you deliver to.
Requirements:
* Valid B category and clean driving record (no DR, IN endorsements).
* No more than 6 points.
* Proven experience in a similar role desired.
* Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
