Purpose of this role
We’re looking for a talented Social Media Manager who’s as comfortable behind the camera as in front of it. You’ll be a creative storyteller who can turn ideas into content people care about. You’ll also be a creative writer, able to write social media copy our content team would be proud of.
You’ll lead the social presence primarily for Medichecks, whilst also supporting our treatments brand Leger Clinic, helping us connect with audiences through engaging video, smart copy, and ideas that build trust and community.
This role blends creativity with strategy. You’ll manage our Social Media Executive and work closely with our paid social agency, keeping a close eye on performance, spotting trends, testing new approaches, and making sure our content and campaigns are driving real return on investment. You’ll also collaborate closely with our Marketing Manager on campaigns and other initiatives.
Role and Responsibilities
* Bring our brands to life across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook with creative ideas, engaging posts, and stories that resonate.
* Be one of the faces of our brands — creating authentic, short‑form content that connects with audiences and builds trust.
* Develop and deliver social strategies that grow reach, engagement, and brand awareness.
* Build and nurture a positive online community by responding to comments, sparking conversations, and encouraging discussions aligned with brand values.
* Collaborate closely with the wider Marketing Team on campaigns, influencer partnerships, and cross‑channel initiatives. Manage and mentor our social media executive.
* Manage our paid social agency, alongside our Marketing Lead, monitoring performance, suggesting tweaks, and aligning organic and paid strategies.
* Track metrics, test new formats, and make data‑driven recommendations to improve reach, engagement, and conversions.
* Stay on top of social trends and emerging platforms.
*The Marketing team attend the office every Thursday.
Skills and Experience
* At least 5 years’ experience in social media across consumer products (health and wellbeing experience a bonus but not essential)
* Strong creative eye and hands‑on content creation skills across formats (video, copy, visuals).
* Confidence on camera, strong interviewing skills and the ability to connect naturally with audiences.
* An eye for analytics and performance — you’re creative AND commercial.
* Organised, proactive, and happy juggling multiple projects at once.

We have adopted a flexible hybrid approach to working in both the office and at home, having seen the benefits of both for everyone during the last year. You will predominantly work from home, but sometimes we will get together to collaborate, or for 121s.
