The Job:
We are currently seeking an experienced Agriculture Client Portfolio Manager to join a well-established and expanding professional services business, specialising in supporting rural and agricultural clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to work closely with a varied client base, providing expert financial, tax and business advisory services within the farming and rural sector.
As part of the role, you will manage a portfolio of agricultural clients, deliver tailored advice and support, and develop long-term trusted relationships. You’ll be involved in reviewing accounts and tax computations, identifying opportunities to add value, and mentoring junior team members.
- Manage a portfolio of agricultural clients, providing proactive accounting, tax, and financial advice
- Review accounts, tax computations, and ensure client compliance with statutory regulations
- Identify opportunities to support clients with strategic financial planning and business advice
- Supervise and mentor junior members of the team, contributing to their development
- Liaise with HMRC, auditors, and other stakeholders as required

The Candidate:
- ACA or ACCA qualification- fully qualified
- Proven experience managing a portfolio of agricultural or rural business clients is essential
- Strong understanding of the unique requirements of farming, estates, and rural enterprises
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proactive, problem-solving, and commercially minded approach
- A full UK driving licence is essential
