Overview
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Development Programme Team on a part time basis (27.00 hrs) to support the programme manager with the end-to-end delivery of our school leaver programme (Stronger Starts Retail Apprenticeship) and our work with our charity partner The King’s Trust.
In this role you’ll lead our volunteering opportunities, events and colleague engagement plan. You’ll play a central role in supporting the roll out and management of our school leaver programme across the group, championing social mobility and diversity and inclusion at all times.
The success of the role relies on strong project management and building strong relationships with our charity partners.
Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of our team’s development programmes, focusing on our school leaver programmes and volunteering.
* Manage volunteering opportunities across the business by actively engaging with business functions, proactively take part in a variety of virtual and in-person volunteering opportunities to understand the needs of young people, ensuring our volunteering database is kept up to date.
* Writing and deploying communication to colleagues and key stakeholders.
* Creating & maintaining project plan, reports, guides, briefing documents and providing volunteering updates to key stakeholders.
* Project manage volunteering and award ceremony events with our external providers.
* Managing and responding to queries through the shared Stronger Starts inbox.
* Work with the data team to ensure we hold the most up to date information on our programmes.
* Supporting the development of our programmes, content and blueprints to a POE approach.
* Supporting the work required to move from a UK only to a group wide school leaver programme offer.
* Working in partnership and building close working relationships with young people partners.
* Support wider team with events and additional admin duties at peak times in the year e.g. intern and graduate induction.

Experience relevant for this job
* Helpful but not essential to have experience in People function e.g., Development Programmes and/or Learning / Capability.
* Experience with store facing projects would be preferable.
