Overview
· The primary purpose of the Production Operator role is to produce Gelato and Sorbets to company standards
· Ensuring all products meet quality specifications and adhere to health and safety regulations.
· The role involves operating machinery, handling ingredients, and ensuring the smooth flow of production within a shift pattern of 4 days on, 4 days off.
This position is critical in maintaining high production standards and delivering products that delight our customers.
Responsibilities
Production and Quality Control:
* Produce Gelato and Sorbets according to company standards and recipes.
* Ensure that all products meet quality specifications before packaging.
Health and Safety and Manual Handling:
* Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and protocols.
* Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
* Report any health and safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
* Engage in tasks requiring manual handling, including lifting and moving heavy items.
* Use correct manual handling techniques to prevent injury.
Shift Work:
* Work on a shift pattern of 4 days on, 4 days off, ensuring flexibility and reliability.
* Be prepared to adapt to various shift times and patterns as required.
General Duties:
* Follow instructions from managers, supervisors, and key machine operators.
* Maintain cleanliness in the team areas, adhering to the 5S methodology:
