My client, an engineering company based in Worcester is looking to recruit a Fabricator/Welder on a temp to perm basis.
The main responsibilities of the role include
- Work from technical drawings.
- Working with both Mild steel & Stainless steel
- Fabricate materials ranging from 2mm sheet metal up to 30mm
- Set up and operate Press brakes, drills, saws, and various pneumatic and hand tools
- Ensure all welds and fabrications meet tight tolerances and project specifications
As a suitable candidate you will offer the following
- previous experience as a Welder/Fabricator, predominately as a MIG Welder
- Working knowledge of different types of steel to avoid cross contamination
- Work closely with colleagues to achieve production targets
- The ability to work on your own initiative and problem solve
- Adhere to PPE standards at all times
- Maintain a safe working environment, always keeping areas clear of debris and hazards
The pay-rate on offer is up to £16 an hour with overtime available
