Our client is commercialising an innovative carbon-based anode material manufacturing process and is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to help take it from lab to large-scale production.
In this role, you’ll be the vital link between R&D, manufacturing partners, and compliance teams — ensuring processes are efficient, safe, and production-ready.
Responsibilities
 * Design, document, and optimise manufacturing processes for carbon-based anode materials
 * Work with external partners to integrate technical knowledge into scale-up plans
 * Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
 * Support scale-up from lab to pilot and full production, including equipment selection and process control
 * Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality
 * Contribute to facility layout and future process specifications
About You
 * Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, etc
 * 3+ years’ experience in process development or scale-up within chemical, materials, or battery manufacturing
 * Experience with carbon materials (activated carbon, graphite) is desirable
 * Strong understanding of chemical processing, mass balance, and industrial safety
 * Proven track record of working cross-functionally
 * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
