About The Role: Shift Pattern: 3 day shifts - 0530 - 1730 then 3 night shifts - 1730 - 0530 followed by 3 days off We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Officer to join our team at Cambridge Business Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for tenants, visitors, and property assets across the business park. Key Responsibilities: Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a visible presence. Monitor CCTV systems and access control points. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, including emergencies and disturbances. Enforce site rules and regulations to ensure compliance with safety protocols. Provide assistance and directions to visitors and staff. Conduct security checks of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter fencing. Write detailed incident and shift reports. Liaise with emergency services when required. Support the delivery of evacuation procedures and drills. Monitor deliveries and contractor access to ensure proper authorisation. Requirements : Valid SIA Security Guard or Door Supervisor License. Proven experience in a security role (preferably in a commercial or business park setting). Strong observational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Basic IT skills for report writing and system monitoring. Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Desirable : Experience with access control and alarm systems.
