We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to support our Power Portfolio Solutions in the Automotive Electromobility Sector, focusing on battery testing and EVSE equipment. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, repair, training, and parts management of hardware and software solutions.
Responsibilities
1. Manage and execute preventative maintenance and calibration schedules.
2. Coordinate with third-party service providers.
3. Install hardware and software/firmware updates.
4. Perform on-site troubleshooting and repairs.
5. Collaborate across teams on complex issues and escalations.
6. Provide customer training.
7. Lead support projects involving multiple stakeholders.
8. Resolve hardware, software, networking, and facilities issues.
9. Support sales initiatives and identify growth opportunities.
Qualifications
Required
* Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or related field.
* Fluent in English.
* Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to travel.
Desired
* Knowledge of battery test technologies and EVSE solutions.
* Experience with power electronics, high voltage/current systems, and safety.
* Experience with on-site commissioning or service delivery.
* Proficiency in MS Windows, Linux, and networking.
* Strong organizational skills and task prioritization.
