The business has a strong reputation within the commercial and education sectors, with a consistent pipeline of work and a focus on delivering complex, large-scale projects.Known for investing in their people, they offer a collaborative environment with clear opportunities for progression.Your new roleLead and manage the end-to-end tendering process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, competitive, and fully compliant bids. You'll take ownership from initial enquiry through to tender submission, negotiation, and contract award.Review tender documentation to identify scope, risks, opportunities, and compliance requirementsCarry out initial bid assessments, defining strategy, programme, and resource requirementsManage and raise technical, commercial, and contractual queries with clientsLead and coordinate internal teams to deliver submissions to deadlinePrepare and submit high-quality, competitive, and compliant tender returnsEnsure all documentation meets internal standards and governance processesRepresent the business in client meetings, presentations, and tender negotiationsContribute to tender adjudications, providing commercial input and recommendationsMonitor bid progress and address risks impacting programme or qualityProvide regular updates to senior management on live tendersDrive continuous improvement across bid and estimating processesWhat you'll need to succeedMinimum 5 years' experience in estimating, bid management, or pre-construction within the M&E sectorStrong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building servicesProven track record delivering tenders from enquiry through to awardAbility to interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documentationStrong commercial awareness including pricing, risk, and value engineeringProficient in Microsoft Office and estimating / bid softwareWhat you'll get in returnThis is a great opportunity to join a growing, well-regarded M&E contractor with a strong pipeline of large-scale projects across the UK and Ireland.
